A Fun Day in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan

For Valentines Day this year we decided to go out and enjoy the beautiful day in northern Michigan. It was a gorgous 50 degree day and it started out sunny but buy the end the clouds had started to move in. We went on a mini adventure up to the Upper Peninsula. We planned on going to Tahquamenon Falls but we made a wrong turn or to better discribe it missed out turn and ended up at the end of Whitefish Point. We found the Whitefish Point Light House and stopped to take pictures. We walked out the lake but it was really windy and actually kind of cold by the big lake.

Once we got our selves turned around we finally made it to our distination for the day Tahquamenon Falls. These are the Upper Falls. It was a nice, not to icey walk to go check them out. It was a beautiful afternoon buy the time we got here it was 50 degrees and it was starting to cloud over. We stopped in Newberry on the way home for gas and a late lunch. After Lunch we headed home. What a great day, it doesn’t get much better then this day in February.
