This Morning we made Coffee and Tea, packed up camp and headed east toward to Smokey Mountain National Park. We stopped at The Manhattan Project National Historic Place and checked out what all they did in Tennessee for it.
Tennessee is where there refined the Uranium 25 and Plutonium for the project. They Shipped out an ounce a week to the main site in Los Alamos, NM. Most of the buildings have been torn down according to the nice man at the visitor center. There are a few cool museums in town but they are all $10 per person to enter.
So, we decided to move on to our campground at Smokey Mountain National Park called Cades Cove. We made it to our site around 1 pm so I made lunch and we went to find a visitor center to get my book stamped. We did the Cades Cove Loop while we were out and about. It was cool, really busy, the views are amazing here. And how they put in roads with giant rock walls is just incredible.

We got back to our site around 4 pm and set up camp. I made dinner which we decided Sloppy Joe’s from scratch and Mac’n’Cheese for dinner.
I still haven’t gotten my recipe perfect but they were good. After dinner we went for a walk around camp since the dogs are not allowed on the hiking trails here. Then we just hung out at camp and I worked on my lap top and the boys hung out waiting for the stars so Bryce could work on taking star photo’s.
