Angel Falls, Panther Falls and MiniHaha Falls all near Lake Rabun Rd.

Today we went on a nice hike close to where we are staying in Georgia. It is on National Forest Land but because the campground is closed for the winter you do not have to pay to park to go and hike the trail.
The Trail head is off of Lake Ruben Rd. which is a super tight and winding road that goes around Lake Ruben. The Trailhead is a ways down the road it is right next to the National Forest Campground.

The Trail itself is your average trail it is about a 1.5 mile hike one way. You first reach a bridge and a nice little stair step falls and then you keep hiking. You will come to Panther Creek Falls these are really pretty and you can get fairly close to them. It is a great spot to let your dog get a drink or just sit and hang out.

After these Panther Falls is when it gets a little tricky the Trail Becomes a Black Diamond. It is narrow and step from here. You walk a little less then a half mile and you will come to the bridge where angel falls is. These falls are awesome.

They go as high as you can see, if you’re brave like my son he climbed part way up and got photo’s of the top of the falls. We stayed at the bridge. You can get good photo’s from the bridge.

After these Falls we hiked Back out to the truck. There is another set of Falls close to these. They are down a couple of dirt roads and They are a short hike up hill to get to I believe the trail is less then a half mile one way.

These falls are really pretty and have a nice pool at the base.

They are called MiniHaha Falls.
Over all not a ton of hiking to see 3 really pretty waterfalls right near Tallulah Falls, GA.
