Camp Hosting At Cloudland Canyon State Park
This winter we have been at Cloudland Canyon State Park in the Northwest Corner of Georgia, about 45 min. away from Chattanooga, TN. We came down her the end of Nov. Sorry I have not posted in a while if you have been following on Facebook you have seen a few updates but I have been focusing on going back to school for front and development. It also got cold down here shortly after we arrived, so we have not really adventured to far from home.
We saw 7 degrees during the arctic blast we got and it stayed bellow freezing for 4 days.

It was rough but we made it with only a frozen water filter housing having to be replaced. We had a couple other set backs while we have been down here our water pump has quit working and our slide doesn’t like going out. Little problems that we need to fix before we go home.
That is going to change:
The weather has warmed up and we have gotten inspired to get out and about. I have a nice long list of places we plan on going to so expect to see weekly posts from our adventure. This week we went to Russell Cave NM and the Forge Outlet Store. Forge makes cast iron pans and all kinds of other things. That will be next weeks post.

We have gone on one adventure during Christmas Break to South Cumberland State Park in Tennessee. We went hiking and camped in the campground. The park is split up into 4 sections the Visitor Center, the parking lot at the North End of the Fiery Gizzard Trail, Foster Falls where we camped and Denny Cove. Each Section has a parking lot, Foster Falls is the Campground.

We Hiked at the north end of the park and did a nice little loop trail. that had several waterfalls to check out.

We camped at Foster Falls, there is a nice trail that goes to the bottom but we decided the view at the top was nice. it was also getting late and we didn’t want to be hiking in the dark.

We Also have gone hiking in Cloudland Canyon State Park. We went and checked out Cherokee Falls. It has been extremely quiet in the park since after the Holiday Break.

We are currently Yurt Hosting in the park we will be here until we check out in April. We have decided to come back here next year, and there is plenty more to see and do.
Hope you enjoyed this post!!! I plan i regularly posting every Friday so check in and see what we have been up to.
